Epson WorkForce WF-7520 review

Sometimes, letter- and legal-size papers just aren't big enough. Whether for work or even at home, having an inkjet printer that can print on 11 x 17-inch paper is often useful. A wide-format printer lets you churn out large spreadsheets that are...

Wide-format up to 13 x 19 ; Fast, very good output quality ; Duplexing and ADF ; High-yield ink cartridges

Large and heavy ; Output was more highly saturated on certain papers

The Epson WF-7520 is a big printer, but considering its low price, very good quality output, speed, and all the features you get – including wide-format printing – it’s a great buy for the money.

Epson WorkForce WF-7520

The Epson WorkForce WF-7520 inkjet MFP delivers more capability than the competition, with supertabloid-size printing, but at a higher cost per page.

Scan at up to tabloid size (11 by 17 inches). Prints at even larger size. Duplex printing and duplexing automatic document feeder

Relatively high cost per page

Epson WorkForce WF-7520

It wasn't long ago that inkjet printers with the ability to print oversize pages (up to 11x17 inches, often called "ledger" or "wide-format") were specialty devices that commanded premium prices—as much as $500, or more. Over the past year or so,...

Supports wide-format and large-format printing, copying, scanning, and faxing ; Excellent-quality scans and copies ; High-volume paper capacity with auto-duplexing ADF ; Top-notch output quality

ADF cannot auto-duplex oversize documents ; High per-page ink cost

This Swiss Army knife of an AIO does everything well (including handle and output oversize documents), but its high cost of ink will make it less attractive for users who need to print in volume.

I have had this printer now for about 9 months. Couldn't be happier with it – if you need to print out AutoCad or Microstation drawings, it is a must-have. And it certainly is Fast!

Good printer but not compatible with Windows 8.1

Although I haven't used this printer very long, so far I am pleased with its functionality. It had one problem which was solvable but very annoying: the drivers that came with the machine were not compatible with Windows 8.1, nor were the drivers that...
