Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4020

The Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4020 ($149.99 direct) is one of a small but growing group of inkjets challenging the conventional wisdom about the relative merits of inkjets and lasers. Quite simply, it scores better than some lasers at both speed and cost...

Laser-class speed. High-quality output. Duplexer. WiFi. Two paper trays. Low claimed cost per page

Big and heavy for an inkjet printer

Focused on business needs, the Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4020 inkjet printer combines fast speed, high-quality output, and a low claimed cost per page.

Epson Workforce Pro WP-4020 Review: Great Price, Great Output, Cheap Ink

Why should your small office buy a low-end color laser for $400 to $500 when you could opt for the $150 (as of March 25, 2012) Epson Workforce Pro WP-4020 color inkjet printer instead? Good question, especially when you compare it to models like the...

Excellent output ; Low-cost inks

One-year warranty

Great output and performance complemented by inexpensive inks make this printer a small-office standout. The one-year warranty is one of its few disappointments.

don't buy

Printed great when it worked

Leaking CYAN ink out of the bottom of printer. I Googled and found out that this a common problem with these printers. This one started a couple of months out of warranty. It empties the CYAN ink tank almost as soon as you put it in. Have cleaned heads...

No duplex with brochure paper

Nor sure yet - wanted to get this out

Wish I had known this before I bought it. This unit is to replace a Brother laser color that was pumping through way too much ink. I use it to print two sided brochures. The specs say it will auto duplex - which it does until you select brochure paper,...

What I've waited for - the WorkForce WP-4020!!

Been longing for a good color home printer, the 4020 is a beauty, big footprint tho. Hooking it up with a wireless modem using the printer's WiFi button couldn't have been easier, bingo. Crisp color printing, good text, and love the auto duplexing...

Unbeatable Value

My WP-4020 worked great right out of the box. Installation and setup was smooth and trouble-free in my Mac OSX environment. Print quality is also great. I especially like the removable paper cassette which is much, much better than the cassettes...

Great but 2 yrs later....DONE

I have been an Epson fan forever. Love this printer. After 2 great years with it......done! Ink everywhere. Not happy about it, but I am going to order the same printer again. I will hope to get more than 2 yrs this time.

My WP-4020

Only had it for a day and already it's doing the job better than my other printers. I purchased the 4020 to replace my stylus color 3000 that finally quit, after buying it used about 15 years ago. One thing, will it save on ink like the 3000 did?

Not as advertised

Ad said "all in one". There seems to be no way to either scan or photocopy. No instructions for those functions. After setup, w/ brand-new ink, message is "Ink cartridges cannot be recognized". Cartridges came new-in-the-box with the machine. Cannot...
