Review: Epson WorkForce WF-3540 All-in-One Printer

The Epson WorkForce WF-3540 offers a lot of paper capacity, speed, and ease of use for the price. Although ink costs are above-average, it's worth considering for being so well-equipped compared to the competition.

Automatic duplex printing and scanning ; Nice output quality

Ink prices are higher than average

The 3.5-inch touch-screen display works well with gesture navigation, but its fixed angle inhibits its usability in higher positions.

"Okay if you never print envelopes"

The printer is good looking, but for my office, I need to send out letters. And those need envelopes. Previously, I was using an EPSON 4540 and I could stack about 10 envelopes in the rear paper feeder. After about 6 months of use, every envelope put...

"Pants"

I rarely leave reviews, but felt I had to in this instance. I purchased a WF-3540 printer 16 months ago. Its been okay generally, though it has had very little work to do - certainly no more than average home usage. Today however, without warning I get...

"Practical workhorse for a small/medium office"

"ALMOST perfect...."

We've had a faithful Brother CW 685 for about 3 years and it's just started getting lines across images, so we did a lot of research before opting for the 3540. It got good tech reviews and the majority of user reviews were positive. Ended up getting...
