Epson WorkForce WF-3640

Epson's WorkForce WF-3640 is capable at paper handling and comes with a long list of features that makes it our Editors' Choice for moderate-use micro office MFPs.

Prints, faxes, scans, and copies. Unusually capable paper handling. Ethernet. Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi-Direct capable. Prints through the cloud

Although graphics quality is a bit below par, but good enough for most internal business needs

As the next-generation version of the Editors' Choice Epson WorkForce WF-3540 that it's replacing, the Epson WorkForce WF-3640 ($199.99) has a lot to live up to. The good news is that it mostly does, with excellent paper handling and an impressive set...

Epson Workforce WF-3640 review

The WorkForce WF-3640 is one of the first Epson desktop printers to utilize the new PrecisionCore technology, which promises faster speeds and better…

Fast print speed ; Very good image quality on plain paper ; Duplex printing, ADF ; Two paper trays

More expensive than consumer MFPs ; Copying speed could be faster

As with other Workforce printers, Epson targets this MFP toward the small business market. It’s certainly a terrific MFP for that environment, but we think it’s just as useful at home. Yes, you could argue that the extra paper tray, fax, ADF, and price...

Great printing. Terrible multipage scanner

Prints wonderful. Put items in the scanner feeder and it will not roll it through. It is like it doesn't grip it.

Easy to Use, Fast, Easy to Set Up, Performance

Jams Easily, rollers don't work

Never Received

I would love to provide a review of this product, but Office Depot never delivered it. Apparently the driver didn't want to get out of the car in the cold - boo hoo. So after days of calling, talking to customer service, and scheduling "redelivery", I...

Worst printer

Picked up, setup, scanned a document and came out with a solid black box on the left side. Returned printer for another one. Setup and black ink install error. installed new ink and same thing. This printer is not worth the trouble of buying.

Worked beautifully for 2 months, then died.

Printed & copied beautifully but only lasted 2 months! I was very happy with this printer for 2 months, then it died with an error code. I called HP and they were apologetic & said it needed to be replaced. It was still under their warranty, but it...

Almost perfect!

I didn't have any problems setting this printer up but then I have set up lots of printers. I did not set up the WIFI. I have had this printer for about a month. I really like everything about it except that I needed an automatic document feeder that...

Too tedious to use

The copier is a nice size for a desktop copier, if you have limited space. From there the appeal goes down. You have to press the display to wake it up and then choose a function and it is sometimes slow to respond to your pressing on the display. You...

Easy to Set Up

Performance, Slow, too many steps to set up simple tasks
