BEST 4in1 (print,scan,copy,fax) for home/office in the under $300 class.

My experience with Lexmark X5470

 

A lot of features and easy to use. Better speed than same level Brother.

I also have one Brother MFC 420cn. Never heard of paper jam.

I think we can do better.

 

We purchased the HP 2500 printer for creating brochures for our small business. It seemed ideal at first, due to it's large paper capacity (up to 13" x 17"), so we could make full size, book type brochures. However, the reality of the situation began...

Long print life, fairly fast on "plain" paper setting

Only a 4 cartridge machine, very slow printing on any photo paper

We got this printer about 15 months ago and have had 5 service calls. The first 3 calls were during the first 6 months of ownership.
