Brother HL-2250DN review

The Brother HL-2250DN monochrome laser printer may not offer the cheapest running costs on the market, but it's competitively priced, doesn't take up much space, and produces good results at a decent speed.

Low price ; Duplex printing ; Ethernet support ; Good text quality

Graphics print quality could be better

Overall, the Brother HL-2250DN offers good value for money. It's cheap but offers enticing features, such as duplex printing and networking support. We also like the fact it's so compact.

Brother HL-2250DN

Brother has built duplex print and comparatively high speed into a small-footprint machine with a competitive price.

22ppm top test speed ; Small footprint ; Convenient special media feed

Banded greyscale fills ; Slow duplex print ; Dark greys can print black

Brother’s HL-2250DN is a very good little printer for the money. It’s quick and convenient to use and produces good quality text print. Greyscale graphics and photos aren't quite so good, but for general SOHO duties it should sit quietly in the corner...

Awesome Printer!!!

Took only 10 minutes to set up - easy to read the manual and follow steps. Pages printed perfectly, super quick and auto duplex is magic... Connects to my modem and network, and it works like a charm. Definitely recommend it!!
