Automatic color calibration assures you the same awesome print output on the 1st or the 40th copy. This plotter also features Pantone-licensed color management, Adobe ink profiles, Agfa PhotoTune, Kodak Precision Profiles for PageMaker and Photoshop separation tables. Additionally, four ink emulation modes let you print jobs using standard pre-press color gamut. Armed with a standard 20MB on-board RAM, expandable to 68MB, and an Intel i960 CF RISC processor, no job is too big for this DesignJet. The DesignJet 2500CP offers you full Adobe PostScript Level 2 support, with automatic queuing and nesting from the standard 2.0GB hard drive, effectively speeding up print jobs and reducing your media waste. It includes 35 Adobe Type 1 scalable typefaces and an Ethernet/LocalTalk JetDirect card for simple installation into your network. HP has added larger capacity ink systems for this new line of plotters. While individual results can vary depending on your printing needs, you can expect to get at least 400 A1 size prints per system, according to HP. Specially-designed dye-based black, cyan, magenta and yellow inks offer you maximum image quality. Be sure to watch out later this year for another generation of DesignJet 2000 series inks, pigment-based systems in black, cyan, magenta and yellow designed for enhanced outdoor durability. And HP makes a coated paper, film, or vellum for any printing application. This plotter ships with an Ethernet/LocalTalk JetDirect card installed, 20MB of RAM, a rollfeed spindle, 1 roll of HP heavyweight coated paper, 1 sample roll of HP high-gloss film, 4 ink systems (black, cyan, magenta and yellow), a user manual and PostScript printer drivers for Windows 3.1/95/NT 3.51/4.0 and GX/non-GX for Macintosh.
