HP Deskjet 3520 Budget Printer

Overall a good printer, easy to update the software HP will send you a new disk free of charge, surprisingly prints photos really good.

USB instead of LPT1, easy to use, compact, come with other usefull software

When installing the software it takes a long time to discover the printer

Great inexpensive and small

Needed a printer-quick. Was outof town, found the 3520 on sale and picked it up. Excellent photo quality and text too. I needed something small enough to put in an extra carry on bag, and this one fit the bill. Now have it installed at home, didn't re

Ink is a little expensive, but isn't everybody's now days? This thing ABSOLUTELY will NOT work with Suse/RedHat/Mandrake machines. Windows (XP) only

Too slow for the quality

all i do is print black, and this printer does that well for $40

it's WAY too slow. that's the major downfall. the computer lists the printer as working before the feed is rolling. (Mac OS X 10.2)

very good product...

This printer is asome! I simple to use, cheap and cartrige is not too expensive. I would recommend it if you want just a basic printer with good printing quality

Just a little noisy when printing but who cares, it works well

HP 3520

Prints quickly. Decent scanner. Has an automatic duplexer

Ink cartridges are ridiculously small. You run out of ink fairly quickly

You get what you pay for.

I'm dealing with it for the time being, but if I'd have paid more I'd have sent it back right away. You get what you pay for, but this is a first for me with an HP product, and I have many.

I bought the machine as a copier and it has good quality

It's loud, but more annoying is the fact that you have to assist the paper feed each time. I've tried more paper, less paper and amounts in between in the paper tray, but nothing corrects the problem

Works as the other crapped out

It replaced the exact same model that broke with the dreaded 'head exception; that they do. It works just like the original and the kids have an extra box to play with

Came working out of the box

Work, But annoying.

Spend the few extra bucks and get a printer that will wake up automatically and reconnect when you try to print something. Save the headache. I wish I did.

It works. Looks nice. Easy Set up

Goes into sleep mode and won't print unless it is turned off and back on. Becomes very annoying after a little while ; Occasionally have connectivity issues but usually works

Good for occasional home use

Considering I just needed a printer for the occasional thing I needed to print out or scan (what with everything being digital these days) it meets my needs just fine. More demanding users might have issues I haven't seen.

Works when I need it to, connects to local wi-fi so no need to run a network cable out to it (inconvenient location for that). Print quality is good for what I use it for

A bit loud when running, drivers are a bit bloated considering I don't need half the functionality they have. HP is notorious for their ink being expensive and having chips in the cartridges that cause them to "expire", as well as issues with generic inks
