HP Deskjet D2560

 

Bearing its flaws on its sleeve

Decent speed for its price, adequate quality, good running costs

Cheap build quality, some colour inconsistency issues, no proper paper output tray

Although budget printers are never completely satisfactory to use, the Deskjet D2560 makes a decent attempt. It feels delicate, but its speed, quality and running costs make it tempting.

HP Deskjet D2560

 

A bare bones desktop printer with a minimum of features and accessories, the HP Deskjet D2560 is really only suitable for printing basic black and white pages. Don't trust it with your photographs.

Lightweight design. Simple installation. Decent black and white printing.

Poor colour photo printing. Four-page per minute cycle is sluggish.

We know it's a cheapie, and the AU$59 RRP is less than the cost to replace both the ink cartridges, but it's still really only suitable for students printing essays or parent's printing recipes. Don't trust it with your photographs.
