Compact; lightning fast prints; overall good text quality; multipurpose input tray is convenient; low per-page costs; 24-7 tech support.

Encountered a major, reproducible text error; graphics quality needs improvement; expensive relative to some of the competition.

The HP P2015dn has the right features to make it a good fit for a small office or home office, but the competition offers a better printer for less money.

"I'd rather eat glass."

 

HP used to be a great company. Now they are demonstrating that they take their customers for suckers. Customers cannot get through to them and are treated arrogantly. Their website has bad links, missing information and wrong solutions. The printer is...

It works well as a paperweight.

Even though it has a USB port, it doesn't work with the USB Port. The online drivers don't work with XP and the USB port. The website makes dealing with the DMV and IRS seem like a dream.

"The Windows ME of Printers"

 

This printer in the Windows ME of printers. Enough said. Owner are resorting to baking, yes baking as in oven, to get their printers to work.

I can't think of any.

All you have to do is search the web and you'll find legions of people complaining about the HP LaserJet P2015.

Like others, it died on me.

 

Nice while it lasted. Formatter died, which seems to be a very common problem. Cost to replace it: $100. No thanks, off to purchase the Brother printer that I should have in the first place. I owned another HP before this one (in about the same price...

Wonderful for a year, trash thereafter

 

Now it doesn't work at all. Basically it's a piece of junk. By the way - contrary to the CNET review, the customer service is NOT, repeat NOT, 24/7, and it's not easy for me to have a couple of hours at home to contact them ... Expand full review

The year that it worked it was wonderful

Major software issues. 3 hours install time on Vista, and now I can't even reinstall on Vista or Windows 7. It worked great for a year, but then I had to restart 5 times each time I wanted to print. Now it doesn't do anything but blink randomly

Nice ... while it lasted

 

I used to think HP printers were the best. I still think they were the best, emphasis on the past-tense verb. Customer service is non-existent and the machines don't last - a very bad combination.

I liked the speed and the easy double-sided printing

I've owned two of these. One had to go back to HP because it was defective. (Getting a replacement was slow and complicated). The other one just went stupid and no longer works
