Super work-horse, easy to maintain and fast!

 

I have 4 of this printers and each with different configuration, but they are all 9050 series. One thing to correct CNET is this printer has duplexer on most of its model, which mean it print 2-sided. They also configure like MFP which replace the top...

Fast 50ppm on ALL sizes of papers (most HP's only perform that fast IF use with letter size) ; Easy to maintain ; Large and economy toners ; Easy to fix problem ; Trouble-shooting is easy, I like the on-screen step by step, didn't I say it is so cool

No standby mode ; Slightly older design (but still looks sophisticated to me though) ; Heavy! (this is the pay-off)

POS don't waste your money. I would give 0 stars

Moving it around to work on it is good excercise. Position your body in certain angles to work specific muscle groups

Lasted all of a week and continuously get 49 errors. Multiple posts on web about this. Suggestions are to try everything to fix. PCL 5, PCL 6, and PS drivers, update firmware, turn down link speed ... Even swapping the firmware DIMM did not work

Good printer- bad firmware

 

We have a few of these printers. They are usually very reliable but we had 2 shipped to us with bad formatter boards and bad flash memory cards. After getting this resolved the printer runs like a champ.

Well built, but goes through an imaging unit faster than a set of toner! It does take a while for the first page to come out too. Hopefully replacing this one soon!

I've been using this as a low volume printer for some time and it has never failed me. The toner lasts quite well and it would be hard to find much fault with this machine. I can't say how well it would do with heavier use but I anticipate it would...
