HP's M1217nfw MFP is a no-nonsense, mono multifunction printer, complete with wireless connection and very easy maintenance. One or two little niggles hold it back, though.

"Product lines are money pits."

 

(continued from cons) ... on Mondays I would find up to 150 illegible pages in the receiver tray with few legible enough to rescue...business opportunities from that weekend irretrievably lost...and the wasted paper. Multiple "support" encounters were...

fax and scan OK.

Both the LaserJet Pro M1212 and this 1217 they sent to replace it run out of toner after only half the number of pages the device expected to be able to process and kept on "printing" pages without toner so... (see summary)

Lack of connectivity.

 

Avoid this printer.

Never got that far.

I've spent the last four hours trying to get this printer to connect to my wireless network. A HP technician has been remotely accessing my laptop connected to this printer for the past 90 minutes without success.

Does absolutely what it is supposed to do, quick printing, quick installation under Windows 7.

First toner has smaller size than replacement ones you can buy --> you have to buy a new one quiet soon.

This HP laserjet is a workhorse printer that sits on a small office wireless network and has been serving as the office printer for over 3 years ; The price is great ; The quality is outstanding
