HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw

The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw can be a good fit as a personal printer in any size office.

Small. Low price. Wired and Wi-Fi network connections. Supports both Wi-Fi- and cloud-based mobile printing

Low paper capacity. No duplexer, even as an option. High cost per page

As you might expect, the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw ($349.99) is similar in most ways to the HP LaserJet Pro 100 Color MFP M175nw that it has replaced (although the HP M175nw is still available on the Web at this writing). It offers the same low...

Unless you don't print much, the expensive toner and dumbed-down features on this color laser MFP are going to frustrate you.

Impressive print quality ; Easy-to-use touchscreen control panel

Slow performance ; Meager paper handling and no duplexing ; Expensive toner

There's no disparaging the LaserJet Pro M177fw's output—it's top notch. But as with all color-laser products at this price point, the toner is too expensive, and the features are just adequate. We suggest you start at the $500 level if you really want...

HP Colour Laser MFP M177fw

This is a Multi-Function Device in that it can print, scan, copy and for those who still use it fax. Unlike the recent offering that was monochrome this is colour and of course somewhat larger but in real terms really not that much larger.

The HP Colour Laser MFP M177fw measures 42x41x32cm, the only figure that needs a little more space is the last one if you are raising the lid on the flatbed, but as there is a rather good sheet feed then you only really need the flatbed to copy pages...

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw

The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw can be a good fit as a personal printer in any size office.

The printer’s quality overall is a touch below standard because of slightly below-par text. Fortunately, text quality for lasers is high enough that even being slightly below average is still pretty good. I wouldn’t use the M177fw for serious desktop...

Wireless is flawed

The main reason for my purchasing this printer was to replace 2 printers, an E***n inkjet AIO with wireless and a C***n laser printer/copier. I wanted to get an inexpensive printer that has all the options I have with these 2 printers so I picked this...

Small footprint, nice output, cheap color laser printer

THIS printer cannot tell the difference between 2 different access points with the same SSIDs, different channels (see below). behaves like a typical HP printer

Hard setup but great printer

Setting up this printer has been a journey. This is the second of this kind of printers we have had. The first one would not print or scan so we brought it in to best buy and they shipped us a new one. The second printer had the same problem as the...

Great Machine for About a Month When It Broke

I bought this machine for my home office and for about a month it was fantastic - it did everything as it should, the copies were done quickly, colors sharp, scanner good. Then out of nowhere I got the message "Scanner Error 22" after which the machine...

Colors, fast

Completely Unreliable

Hopefully 2nd time around will be better

I received the printer and was excited to get it all set-up. I got it all hooked up, software installed.....But then, when I pressed the button to install toner, the screen showed, moving yellow cartridge to the front. That was Tuesday around 5 p.m. I...

Great all in one

Have it at my office and just bought one for home. Small footprint with big features.

Good Value, Easy to Use, Quality, Easy to Set Up

So far it is meeting expectations

If the toner lasts as long as it says it will, and it has no other mechanical issues, I will be very happy. It should last our family I am guessing over a year to 2 years. Plus if the quality does not vary over that length of time, I will continue to...

Dont have to worry about dry ink, cause we dont print every day

Not looking forward to buying toner, hopefully it will last us over a year or 2
