HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One Printer Review: No Duplexing, No Dice

The HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One Printer color inkjet multifunction (copy/scan/print/fax) is a puzzler, and a huge disappointment. Priced at $150 (as of June 11, 2012), it's handsome, it has an easy-to-use LCD control panel, and it offers excellent...

Decently fast ; Easy-to-use LCD control panel

Small starter supplies ; Absolutely no two-sided printing support

A complete lack of support for two-sided printing is a deal-killer for this otherwise competent small-office multifunction.

HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One

The HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One inkjet MFP lacks some potentially important features, like wired network support, but it scores reasonably well for speed and output quality.

Automatic document feeder. Wi-Fi. Touch-screen control panel with well-designed menus. Prints through the cloud

No duplexer (for printing on both sides of a page). No Ethernet. No PictBridge support. Only one paper tray

HP Officejet 6600 review

A reasonable MFP with exceptionally low running costs, but it's overpriced and hamstrung by its awful driver interfaces

HP Officejet 6600 E

The HP Officejet 6600 is a mid-range, SOHO all-in-one with ADF, ePrint, mobile links, but no duplex.

Good quality, fast draft mode, Downloadable print apps, Easy cartridge loading

Huge footprint when tray’s extended, Fiddly scanner lid lift, No duplex print or card slots

Nice upgrade from my HP 750 printer!!

My HP750 printer died after ten years; looked around for a replacement, came back to HP and found the 6600!! Great upgrade; I'm very pleased with it.

Great quality you would expect from HP. Fast printing, easy set up and installation of print cartridges. Water-proof ink is a real plus

E-fax set can be cumbersome; hard to install

Bad Business

Its wireless and can connect through your home wifi to print. Also it is very easy to use

It sucks up colored ink way too fast. I spent too much on replacing ink cartridges. It won't print in black and white only either. So when you run out of color ink with black still full, the printer is useless. I will not be buying another HP printer

Single worst piece of electronics I've ever owned.

It is almost worth it for the amusement of how bad of a product it is. Virtually nothing on it works as it should, the paper/envelope loading, scanning, wifi, auto-feed; all have their issues.

It looks nice, I guess

It is downright obstinate ; The ink, as other reviews have detailed, is a nightmare. I was eventually able to take a multi-meter to a cartridge and figure out how to rig empty ones that will fool the printer into thinking it still has color ink. It...
