HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless Printer

HP's Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless color inkjet printer ($180 as of March 26, 2010) could cure some small offices or workgroups of their color-laser envy. Even the lowest-end color lasers can't compete with the Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless's speed,...

Excellent text quality for an inkjet ; Wireless connectivity allows convenient placement ; Very inexpensive ink

Photos exit slowly ; Images can be murky, with orangey flesh tones

Packed with features and built for speed, this small-business inkjet printer is hard to beat. Ink costs are amazingly low.

HP Officejet Pro 8000 Enterprise

You're in charge of buying large numbers of printers throughout your company. Cost is critical—not only for the purchase price and the price of the consumables, but also for the ongoing cost of maintaining the printers companywide. You don't want to...

Low per-page print costs ; 250-sheet input tray ; Input tray can handle 20 envelopes at a time ; Optional second 250-sheet input tray ; Duplex printing ; Compatible with HP’s printer management tools

Monochrome 2-line LCD ; No Wi-Fi ; No memory-card slot

Targeted to the corporate market, this inexpensive inkjet printer has some key benefits for business. Just don’t expect the usual consumer-oriented extras.

HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless

The HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless inkjet printer is similar to the top-rated HP Officejet 6000 Wireless (*Est. $80), only the 8000 model is designed for heavier-duty office use, with a thicker plastic case, slightly faster printing speed (according to...

Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity, auto-duplex printing, high-quality black text printing

Lots of complaints from users, mixed reviews for text-printing speed, photos print slowly, photos not as sharp or vivid as Canon's, no PictBridge port or memory-card reader

HP Officejet Pro 8000 Printer Review

Review of Officejet Pro 8000, an ink jet printer that comes with standard and wireless networking capability and that HP promises to be more economical than laser printers.

Review: HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless inkjet printer

HP's Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless color inkjet printer could cure some small offices or workgroups of their color-laser envy.

The inks are so cheap, in fact, that we have to talk about them first. The standard-size supplies (the printer ships with a set) are already a bargain: A 1000-page black cartridge costs $26 (about 2.6 cents per page), while each 900-page cyan, magenta,...

Seriously, don't buy one of these.

I had one of these and had to stop using after a few nonths because paper feed stopped completely and was unfixable. Asked purchasing department to get me a new printer- they bought me another identical one which failed in 6 weeks. I am not a heavy...

None whatsoever

Basically doesn't work. Main problem is with paper feed which has real problems finding paper. Also needed new print head after 3 weeks!!!! Constantly adjusting its alignment- takes ages to actually print things

Peice of CRAP!

This is a peice of crap. HP should be ashamed of themselves for creating such a waset of time and money. if i can prevent one person from having the same frustration that i have this rating is worth my time. There was a time when HP actually made good...

Looks nice- Ifthat is a Pro

It whirls and clicks and whills and clicks some more, then it usually shakes and after a few minutes, something may come out about 50% of the time. I this is absolutely the worst and most frustrating product i have ever purchace

Consumer review by:

Good quality, slow startup, sucks ink like no tomorrow!

We bought this printer because it rated well, especially for low ink usage (consumer reports). What a total disappointment. After only 500 pages ALL inks cartridges have been replaced at a cost of $160 ($0.32 /page).

Good quality

Sucks ink, big time

Consumer review by:

Very bad printer.

This printer is a huge security risk on corporate networks and makes the printer unsuitable for most businesses. It's unreliable and expensive and seems to expend cartridges at the same rate regardless of usage or ink capacity. I suspect it has a...

I wish there was anything good I could say about this printer. The only positive might be the cost

The start up and initialization time for this printer is ridiculous - 4-6 minutes of pointless grinding and jerking about. Printer eats up ink quickly, quality is very poor, and very hard to get them replaced under warranty, HP will give you a run around
