HP Photosmart C4580 All-in-One

A versatile wireless printer that produces great-looking photos and can adequately handle scanning and copying.

Excellent photo quality ; Refreshingly simple design ; Web page interface for monitoring status remotely

No automatic document feeder or paper output tray ; Can't have USB and wireless modes enabled simultaneously ; Very small LCD

As the As the $129 HP Photosmart C4580 is primarily a photo printer; it performed better in that respect than the similarly priced Canon and Brother devices. However, while it acquitted itself adequately for office tasks such as scanning and copying,...

HP Photosmart C4580 All-in-One Printer, Scanner, Copier

Perfect for those who don't want to spend a bundle on the printer or the ink, the HP Photosmart C4580 offers high-quality prints without all the extras.

Excellent quality; low total cost of ownership; Wi-Fi; surprisingly good scanning features

Lacks a number of common features, including photo tray; no Ethernet connection, Bluetooth support; confusing setup for those who want to connect via both USB and Wi-Fi; mixed print speeds

Finally, cost of ownership is impressively low. HP estimates the ink cost for a typical page will run about 4.3 cents for black text and 7.3 cents for a mix of color text and color images—assuming you purchase HP’s high-capacity ink cartridges. The...

worse wireless printer ever

Worse printer ever. Bought it for the wireless convinience and out of my three laptops only one can print wirelessly. The other two need to be plugged in directly. the system set up does not work with 64 bit

Constantly spending time trying to set up each computer to make the printer work wirelessly and unsuscessful at the end. The printer i have right now is a replacement since the one i bought stop working all of the sudden

ABSOLUTE JUKE - ZERO STARS!!

Updated on Sep 10, 2010

Absolutely nothing

This printer hasn't worked since day one. The worst part is the status function gives you the wrong information as to what is wrong next so it leads you on a wild goose chase - RUN don't walk from this printer

Definitely not what I'd hoped for!

It just isn't all that it's supposed to be. The price is right, but I would gladly pay more for something that works properly. If the paper isn't completely prefect in every way get ready for the paper jams! Don't buy this if you simply can't live...

The features are appealing

The wireless capabilities don't work at all for me. Constant paper jams to the point I thought I would have to take it back and exchange it

the best printer

we got this printer because we got tired of paying 50-85 dollars for some thing that would break down on us in a year, this one so far has last 2 with no problems

pictures come out great and works good for every day use also, we had a kodak before this one and the pictures are cleaner then the kodak

the ink is expensive almost 50 bucks for both black and color it is insane

No issue to report unlike most of the reviewers.

Excellent value for the money.

Wifi works very well although I have to turn it off/on from time to time ; Print quality is excellent incl. pictures ; Not a single paper jam after 3 months ; Copy funtion working as expected ; Ink price/page reasonnable when you buy XL cartidges

Slow ; May not be suitable for intensive work. I only use it a couple of times a week

Good idea, but poorly executed

Why does it have to create a library, and why is so hard to do so? Just let me select the photo and quantity to print. Scanner thinks it knows what I want...it's usually wrong.

Photo prints are high quality when the printer works right

Returned original...Would not power up. Replacement eats paper and lots of ink...20% failure rate on Xmas card photo...doesn't index properly to leading edge of 4x6. Software is lame...previous HP software was much more user friendly

this printer is TERRIBLE

This printer NEVER worked. From the very first day, the black ink cartridge wouldn't work. Now, I can't even turn it on anymore and it is only a few months old. This is unbelievable, unacceptable and a terrible inconvenience

Don't buy this printer. Zero stars.

I was stoked to get a wireless printer, but the reality has been less than ideal. There are a few major 'known' problems with this printer, including freezing/wireless malfunction and unsolvable (terminal) paper jamming. I hope newer models have solved...

Wireless (when functional) ; Compact

Freezes ; Occasional to permanent paper jam
