HP Photosmart eStation C510a

The HP Photosmart eStation is a credible multifunction printer that performs on par with its competitors and is by all accounts an average, competent device… with one glaring exception that sets it apart: Its detachable Zeen tablet. The tablet works as...

Unique tablet interface offers intuitive UI, helpful printer settings, useful bonus apps ; Impressive photo printing, designated photo tray ; Bright, responsive touchscreen, Wi-Fi for portability ; Photo gallery service for showing off and printing photos

Lack of physical controls on eStation can be disorienting ; Loud ; Expensive – you’re paying for the tablet’s novelties, not an outstanding printer ; No USB port

In general, the HP Photosmart eStation C510a is a great multifunction printer and is especially ideal for family use.

HP Photosmart eStation C510 All-in-One Printer

The HP Photosmart eStation C510 includes a 7-inch Android tablet and lets you print via e-mail or mobile apps, but its performance could be better.

Even though $299 for a printer is on the pricey side, HP bundles an 7-inch Android tablet with its PhotoSmart eStation C510 for about $120 more than other all-in-ones. You also get HP's convenient ePrint service, Apple AirPrint support, and a iPrint...

HP Photosmart eStation C510

The HP Photosmart eStation C510 is an extension of HP's efforts to include Web-connectivity across its line of printers. With a detachable 7-inch Android-powered tablet that lets you surf the Web, browse Facebook, and access the Barnes & Noble eBook...

ePrint feature enables wireless printing by e-mail with online job monitor; detachable Zeen tablet.

Android-based tablet can't access Android Marketplace; onscreen menu lacks print progress tools; problematic Zeen prone to touch-screen mistakes, system hang-ups, and browser process errors; lacks proper setup instructions.

For all the cool points the HP Photosmart eStation C510 earns for Web-connectivity features like ePrint and the detachable Android-powered Zeen, we're holding off on our recommendation until HP drops the price and fixes the user interface bugs and...

Review: HP Photosmart eStation e-All-in-One C510a MFP

Fast, capable, and overshadowed by its detachable Android-based tablet control panel, this MFP offers a unique extra that may justify its price.

At a time when both tablets and Android are hot topics, however, the Zeen seems to be drawing more attention than HP may have desired. Whether the Zeen helps sell more Photosmart eStation mother ships is uncertain—especially at $400

HP Photosmart eStation

HP takes the tablet craze to new extremes by adding one to a stylish all-in-one printer. But does it make sense?

Fast, high-quality prints and great design, but the gimmicky tablet joins the ranks of Android let-downs

"Only printer works and it's inconsistent."

This machine has too many negatives. HP needs to send every customer who has tried to get the scanner or fax to work or work consistently a check for "time on task" trying to get their document where it needs to be. My husband spent several hours...

Clean, clear printing quality of text and graphics.

Poorly written manuals send reader to other sites, explanations are not thorough. CONSTANT Connectivity problems. FAX NOT WORKING.
