HP Photosmart C310a - Slightly Expensive for an MFP

HP has been a competitive player in the MFP (Multi Function Printer) market for a very long time. As home users demand more features out of their printers, manufacturers have to implement features and improve performance for photo printing and more....

The HP Photosmart C310a is a pretty impressive photo printer but we wish, it would support more memory card formats. For example, printing from a portable USB hard drive or flash drive could have been really convenient for the user. If your camera uses...

HP Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One (C310a)

The HP Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One C310a is a pared-down version of the HP Photosmart Premium TouchSmart Web with similar features like a dual-access paper tray and a bright 4.3-inch touch-screen control panel. The C310a also provides ePrint e-mail...

The HP Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One C310a is a solid performer with competitive output and print quality, and HP sweetens the deal with ePrint wireless access and a suite of onscreen shortcut apps.

The C310a omits all hard-button controls in favor of a clumsy touch screen marred by a maddening delay and system hang-ups.

Despite its admirable printing performance, the touch-screen-equipped HP Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One C310a suffers from a confusing user interface and software crashes, so we recommend spending your $150 elsewhere.

HP Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One

A glance at the HP PhotoSmart Premium e-All-in-One ($199.99 direct) reveals it as the latest HP MFP geared for Web app printing. Its centerpiece is the gorgeous 4.3-inch TouchSmart screen that fills the tilt-up front panel. From it, you can control...

Beautiful touch-screen interface. HP Web apps and ePrint. Easy setup. Automatic duplexer. Fast business app printing

Photo quality a bit below par. No slot for USB key and limited memory-card compatibility

The HP PhotoSmart Premium e-All-in-One has a beautiful touch-screen interface and ePrint capabilities.

Review: HP Photosmart Premium C310a MFP

If you're looking for a speedy multifunction inkjet with wireless capabilities, the HP Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One is worth a look. Its text and photo printing quality are impressive, and its AirPrint support, touchscreen menus and printing apps...

Setting up the printer is easy: just plug it in and follow the instructions on the handy TouchSmart control screen to connect to your computer via USB 2.0 or 802.11b/g/n. The touchscreen itself could be a bit more responsive; I sometimes had to push...

HP Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One review

So it follows that the dimensions and weight for the Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One are also similar to its predecessor's at approximately 18 x 18 x 8 inches and 16.9 lbs

Excellent print quality ; ePrint technology/web apps ; Easy Wi-Fi setup

Inflated print speeds ; No USB/Pictbridge port

The biggest issues for me were that HP left off the PictBridge/USB port on the Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One and that I had some problems with responsiveness when navigating the TouchSmart panel. But these are both minor issues in the grand scheme of...

HP Photosmart Premium C310a

Overall, the HP Photosmart Premium C310a is an excellent printer that gives nice results for prints, copies and scans. Accessing the web to print from photo-sharing websites is a nice feature, and the lack of a built-in fax probably isn't a big deal to...

It's a fast printer that produces good prints and has the option to print from the web without a computer

It lacks a built-in fax, its printing speed scores don’t reflect new standards and it is pricey

A pricey all-in-one printer that is good at its job, but where’s the fax?

"A disposable plate would last longer!"

Sucks up in like no other and is basically a disposable piece of garbage. It turns on and off by itself and does not always print, it's hit or miss. I always use Hp cartridges and it started to damage them before they even got a chance to print one...

It prints, sometimes.

Ink hog, damages new cartridges, turns on and off for no reason...

"Great printer, HP is annoying with incessant warnings"

Over all I'm happy with the printer just need to turn off these annoying refilled ink-cartridge warnings.

Airprint for iPhones/iPads (make sure router doesn't block it)
