We have had the HP 1600 in our busy 911 fire emergency communications center for years. It is used (and abused) on a 24/7/365 basis by all the dispatchers for both business and personal printing. It has made what I would guess to be thousands of copies...

I bought the printer from an HP offer with my laptop. It seem to have many flaws, and I don't have time to search them all, so I'll get a new one, from another brand. Some of the issues I got to deal with are: Paper feeding - It's amazing how terrible...

Paper wont feed

 

Paper wont feed

Other features, such as the scanner, work fine, and it prints fine, the trouble is, I have to push the paper in to get the printer to grab it (paper wont feed). I can't print more than one page at a time. I DO NOT recommend this printer to anyone....

I think I got a lemon, but this thing has given me nothing but trouble, which surprises me since it's an HP product. I can't even comment on the copying or scanning because I never got around to using these features. Simply printing was such a hassle...
