HP Photosmart 8750 Professional review

Despite the word professional in its name, in practice, the HP Photosmart 8750 Professional photo printer seems to target size-conscious consumers instead. It uses nine ink primaries to print borderless sheets as large as 13x19 inches, and its...

Easy to use; media card slots; built-in networking.

Uses tricolor cartridges instead of individual ink tanks; prints are not water resistant; slow; big, even for a medium-format model.

This is a decent printer for the photo enthusiast or scrapbooker who wants the amenities of a consumer printer in the size of a medium-format model.

HP Photosmart 8750 Professional Photo Printer

The HP Photosmart 8750 Professional Photo Printer is designed first and foremost for photos.

High-quality photos. Maximum 13- by 19-inch paper size. Prints directly from memory cards and PictBridge cameras.

Relatively slow. Text and graphics quality on plain paper varies significantly depending on which ink cartridge is loaded.
