Excellent resolution,color quality and user friendly.50pp ADF, GREAT price, $1000 when released.

ADF tricky. Loud if resolution is up. No duplex. SAVE MONEY, TURN THE PAGE.

After owning an HP ScanJet 6250C scanner for several years, I upgraded to the HP ScanJet 7450C. It was a big disappointment in some ways, adequate in others.

Optical resolution 2400, unlimited interpolated, high quality scans

ADF jams without stopping, skews paper. Incomplete TWAIN interface. Poor customer service.

Sending mine back...

 

I got the HP 7450C to convert hundreds of printed pages into text. I never once was able to get it to do the full capacity of 50 sheets in the sheet feeder at once without an "Unexpected internal error" occurring totally losing the whole scan. Tried...
