Improved photo quality over previous model ; attractive design ; large 3-inch LCD screen ; easy-to-use Home Center software
Poor quality build with several mechanical errors ; average print speed ; graphics quality still lacks definition
The Kodak ESP5 is an attractive full color all-in-one printer, scanner, and copier, and casual photo enthusiasts will be happy with the watered-down editing software, but hard-core users should look elsewhere for a multifunction printer. The ESP5 is ...

Kodak's ESP 5 All-in-One Printer stands out from other color inkjet multifunction printers because of its significantly cheaper inks. Unfortunately, that's not reason enough to buy this midpriced ($170 as of August 4, 2008) machine, given its slowness ...
Cheap inks; useful software; Nicely designed control panel
Slow; photos have yellowish cast Scans and copies are mediocre quality

nice looking , big easy to see display , easy setup , light in weight , small footprint
very loud , single multicolor ink tank , when you run out of one color you throw the whole tank away. Kind of dispels the cheap ink theory. Flimsy plastic case and attachments.
I wish that I had bought another brand.
The cost of operation is far below my former HP printer, if it can survive. Print speed is good too.
This machine can jam more paper than any machine that I've ever seen. It can jam it coming and going. There isn't any feature that makes it easy to access the jam for quick removal. Also the print image isn't square with the paper.
Do yourself a favor go buy another brand name...
Don't bother.
Guzzles ink. Scanner not so great either.
