Kyocera FS-C5150DN - printer - color - laser

Having problems getting spiceworks to pick up the name of this device rather then the IP.

Kyocera Mita FS-C5150DN review

Kyocera's FS-C5150DN is a heavy duty printer that's designed to handle the high page yields required by small-to-medium businesses. Unlike many of its rivals, Kyocera doesn't quote one-time maximum monthly duty cycle figures, and instead recommends a...

Its colour prints are slow and lack a glossy sheen, but the FS-C5150DN is great value

Kyocera FS-C5150DN review

Very much the quintessential workgroup printer, the Kyocera Mita FS-C5150DN is an impressive colour laser that's only let down by slightly disappointing performance.

Overall, the Kyocera FS-C5150DN promised slightly more on paper then it did in reality. If you might want to take advantage of its high paper handling potential then this is a strong contender. In its standard form, though, it isn't quite as good as...

Kyocera FS-C5150DN review

A lengthy two-year warranty makes Kyocera's FS-C5150DN a good bet, despite its size and weight

Strong potential paper-handling capabilities make it ideal for a busy office; 1,300-sheet capacity; joint-lowest running costs of those on test

Promises more on paper than it delivers; not as attractive an option as the Canon, Epson or Xerox

The Kyocera isn’t the fastest to get started though, and our two-page PDF took 17 seconds to print. In text terms, the Kyocera matches the Canon to offer the joint-lowest running costs here at 1.4p per page. Colour is a little more expensive at 8.6p...

A real workhorse

Although a bit fiddly to get installed it was well worth the effort. I was expecting good things from kyocera and haven't been disappointed. The print quality is exceptional, the duplex works a dream and the whole thing is good to go right out of the box.

Worth every penny

It took a bit of effort to install but it was worth the time and effort. The print quality is exceptional, subject to using quality paper. The duplex and booklet printing comes as standard, which are often optional extras with many other products. I've...

Great Printer

I've now had this printer for about a month and so far it has met all expectations. It was easy to set up on the network and drivers for Macs and Linux boxes were easy to install. Print quality has been good, even photos on glossy photo card -...

Excellent buy

This printer has revolutionised my work. My previous printer was an Epson DX5050 inkjet, which took 6 hours to print a particular set of documents. This printer took less than 20 minutes to do the same job - and I did not have to stand over it to...
