Lexmark Pro715

We like the Lexmark Pro715's updated design and quick print speeds, but looks aside, its core is a near replica of the previous model, the Prevail Pro705 . That printer earned a rating of Excellent for its simple control panel and studio-quality...

The Lexmark Pro715 is a streamlined version of its predecessor, the Pro705, with a higher-resolution 2.4-inch LCD screen and the company's enhanced Vizix 2.0 set of inks for vibrant photos and professional-quality documents.

For the same price, the Epson WorkForce 845 trumps the Lexmark Pro715 in several areas.

Lexmark's latest all-purpose office machine introduces a new set of inks with a separate print head that outputs higher-quality photos than the previous model, but competing devices give you convenient features like cloud printing and a larger...

Lexmark Pro715

The Lexmark Pro715 ($200 list) is chock full of business-oriented features (including but not limited to fax, ADF, and auto-duplexer), making it a good choice for a micro or home office. Although it's limited in home-centered features, it does print...

Good photo quality. 50-sheet ADF. Decent standard and optional paper capacity

Slightly sub-par text

The Lexmark Pro715 provides a decent feature set—including fax and ADF—for a micro or home office, and prints good photos as well.

"Good printer, but don't count on wireless"

Overall I would recommend this printer, but don't count on it if you need a wireless connection. The cartridge recycling program is great - I send them my empty cartridges, and when I've sent 5, I get a new one free.

Really good quality pictures, fast printing time, easy to use. Cartridges last a decent amount of time, especially since I use Draft Quality for most things. I also like the cartridge recycling program.

It can't hold a wireless connection at all. I can get it to make a connection, but it keeps dropping it. Since my office is small enough to run a USB cable, not having a wireless connection is not a necessity, but it would be nice to have it.

"An absolute piece of junk."

Stay far away.

None that I like so far. Got it at Sam's.

Drops a WIRED connection to my Apple every time the computer sleeps. Always has to be turned off and back on to scan documents. Wireless is useless. Does not stay connected.

"Never have suggested this to customer or a friend."

I'm a sales consultant at a larger OfficeMax store. I've hardly ever been a fan of the Lexmark printers we carry. We just did the reset of printers. We carry a lot of the new Lexmark printers. Still not a fan. Selling the Lexmark printers isn't...

The low cost is there...

They fall short on features, functionality, and most of all reliability.

Trial Run

No other complaints, installed like it should. I don't have the WiFi feature or Ethernet settings on, just USB connectivity.

Compact, sleek, USB and Fax cord included, 100 pg front-load paper tray, easy to use printer controls. The printing seems fine as I do mostly b&w printing. I didn't buy to do picture printing

I bought this for the price. For the money that it was before it was discounted and for what the price is now, I would not recommend in the future. Here's the main reason why and why I am disappointed; I bought this primarily for the ADF feature, as I...

Lexmark Pro715

The Pro715 is the mid-range device in Lexmark's latest all-in-one releases, but at just under £200 does it pay its way?

Wireless print from Apple and Android devices ; High resolution print ; USB/PictBridge socket

Over saturated colour print ; High price for feature set ; Slow duplex print

The bundled software includes Abbyy Finereader for OCR and Lexmark’s own applications for fax and phonebook. Call us picky, but we’re never too happy when a brand new printer downloads new drivers during CD installation. This machine downloaded 277MB...

Lexmark Pro715 review

The bulky Pro715 provides a 50-sheet document feeder and a wide range of office-friendly features.

Printing costs are a bit of a mixed bag. Lexmark’s high-yield black ink cartridge gives you a cost of less than 2p per page for printing simple black-and-white text. However, the high cost of its colour ink cartridges pushes the cost of colour printing...

Lexmark Pro 715 review

The Lexmark Pro 715 is not a bad multi-function inkjet, but the problem is that it'soutclassed by Epson's WP-4535DWF, which has a similar asking price, yet is much faster and a good deal cheaper to run.

Good quality text output ; Photo print quality is better than expected for abusiness model ; Strong line-up of features

Banding is a problem on graphics print outs ; Slower and more expensive to runthan rivals

The Lexmark Pro 715 offers a good line-up of features for its asking price and the quality ofits text output is good. It does however face competition in the form of Epson's WP-4535DWF, which has a similarprice tag and yet is faster and cheaper to run.

Don't do it!

I am on my 2nd year with a Lexmark Pro Series printer. It needs maintenance any time I use it. Like most deskjets, it is a throw away product from an industry with nothing but contempt for the environment. I will say the last time I needed parts, they...
