Lexmark X264DN

Lexmark stops scanning within 2 weeks. Lexmark tech support is near impossible to get and when they do, you immediately pick up that they dread the call if its a X264dn. They worked for over an hour, had to call me back several times, finally got it working at 1/2 speed with a universal x driver. That lasted about 3 days. Now it won't scan again. I hvae this 0X00000015 scan error and there is no cure, there is no customer service because this is a poorly designed and defective piece of junk

X264DN is Piece of Junk When my old Dell Multi printer out life (5years) my wife brought me Lexmark X264DN, said she reviewed many “expertise” review, this is best multi function machine in the market place for home office. Let me tell you my experience, if you using it as printer, I would say it is fine, but “multi function? Forget it!, the scanner is so complicated, took me three days to figure out how to scan and save file (there is no on-line support!) fax function is nightmare, often you can hear ring after ring, there is no fax come out due to “energy saving”, and even after your reduce dial tone to 3, it still won’t function. I received tones, tones of complaints about why they can not send us fax from customers. And, you never know how many fax you missed because there is no tracking on machine - if you are looking for nightmare, go ahead to take this machine home, otherwise, throw it to dump site!
