Only keep it now in case I need to fax

 

Like most inkjet printers I have bought, this one only included nearly empty cartridges so you will have to replace them all right away.

Price was good for the features this printer has. Until the black quit working print quality was decent if you set the print quality to fine

If you only occasionally need a printer do not buy an inkjet. It doesn't take long to pay way more for cartridges than the machine originally cost. This one has an automatic cleaning process that uses up the ink pretty fast even if you do not use it...

Excellent all the way.

 

I'm trying two different printers for ink usage. One I ordered off brand ink that didn't prove out. Waiting for return label for two cartridges. For this Brother I ordered extras (brand name) with the printer.

I have three printers, this is the best of the lot

Not Bad...

 

The USB port is hidden inside the machine, but has a wire cutout leading to the back. This unit is not Ethernet compatible; the pictured cable is a telephone cable, for faxing.

Came with all 4 std. (LC61), vacuum packed, ink cartridges. It's very Linux friendly. Rpm and Debian drivers for the scanner, printer, and fax, are on Brother's website; mine is working fine with Ubuntu. Mine prints photos fine, directly from an SD...

A USB cable is not included. Color printouts/photos are quite obviously not pigment-ink quality ($), but plenty reasonable. Unit must be manually switched into Fax or Scan mode, in order to print from PC

nice all in one device

 

i got this for 49.99 half price. this unit installed easily and the software is working properly.only downside is there is not auto document feeder.it has a nice color LCD and nice features.
