HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One

It feels strange to call the HP Photosmart 7510 a legacy model considering it hit store shelves only last year, but HP has already issued an upgrade in the form of the new Photosmart 7520, an equally efficient all-in-one device that adds a few useful...

The HP Photosmart 7520 all-in-one is a cost-efficient introduction to the world of cloud access, remote printing, and simple interactions with the unit's large 4.33-inch color touch screen.

With no support for Ethernet, this printer won't do much for IT shoppers looking to link to a hardwired network.

The HP Photosmart 7520 earns its "all-in-one" moniker and adds cloud printing, remote accessibility, wireless connectivity, and app downloads to its list of features for busy households and small offices.

HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One

Best understood as a home printer with a surprising number of office-centric features, the HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One ($199.99 direct) can serve nicely as a home printer, home office printer, or both. It lacks an Ethernet port, but supports Wi-Fi...

High-quality output. Prints. Scans. Faxes. Copies. Touch-screen controls. Wi-Fi. Prints through the cloud. Duplex printing

No Ethernet. Web-based features available only though a Wi-Fi connection

The HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One is limited by a low paper capacity and lack of Ethernet, but it supports Wi-Fi and delivers high-quality output plus lots of features.

HP Photosmart 7520 Review: Worth The Upgrade?

HP sneaked the Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One into their lineup, replacing the previous generation Photosmart 7510.

Increased print speeds ; Improved print quality ; Family friendly features

Ink costs ; HP Photo Creations ; Multi-scan missing

HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer

So-called "photo printers" that also double as all-in-one (AIO) copy/scan/fax machines are convenient hardware—but, too often, we run into a little problem with them: They cost more to use than similarly priced business AIO models. A good case in...

Prints great-looking photos ; Reasonably fast ; Unusually attractive chassis ; Easy to set up and use

A little pricey ; Very high cost per page ; No Ethernet support

This striking-looking, photo-optimized AIO churns out great-looking photographs, but at an exceedingly high cost per page. Overall, though, it’s a strong-performing printer, best for light duty.

HP Photosmart 7520

For light home use, the modern and beautifully designed HP Photosmart 7520 will fit a wide range of needs. With its fantastic printing quality and extra features, the Photosmart is one of the best all-in-one printers available. Unfortunately, its heavy...

Optional automatic apps deliver comics, children's activities and recipes for your entertainment

Photos and color prints drain the ink quickly, and the cost of replacement cartridges make each print very expensive

For occasional home use, the HP Photosmart 7520 delivers all the features you need and the high quality you deserve.

HP Photosmart 7520 review

Photo-orientated multifunction printer

Superb, fast photo printing ; Great text output ; Good overall build quality ; Web and mobile printing options

No second A4 tray ; Some build issues ; Slight banding on default-quality images ; No Ethernet connectivity

HP's Photosmart 7520 is a stellar printer for home use, but it's also more than capable for home office and small office use.

HP Photosmart 7520

HP's Photosmart 7520 is an easy to use all-in-one for the home office, with good print quality and reasonable all-round value.

Twin paper trays ; Low-profile ADF ; 5 inks, including photo black

Duplex pages reduced in size ; Slow duplex print ; No PictBridge

There are five ink cartridges, which slide into view when you hinge up the scanner section of the machine. These include a second photo black, as well as the oversize pigmented black for text print.

The Photosmart 7520 seems like an excellent bit of hardware, but HP's simplistic drivers will prevent demanding users getting the best from it

HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One review

It's a shame that Lexmark recently decided to pull out of the Inkjet market, as their models had the best touchscreen menu systems we've seen. In their absence, though, the 7520 effortlessly picks up the baton, offering a wonderfully colourful 4.3in...

The running costs are modest, and the 7520 does an awful lot very well. Speeds are often quite good, and it fared particularly well on photos. Add in the wonderful interface, and this is quite the all-rounder.

HP PhotoSmart7520

This is a multi-function unit which means it also has fax as well printing, scanning and copying, I actually recently found a business that still uses fax, my local Pharmacy as urgent prescriptions can be sent from doctors surgeries.

The HP PhotoSmart7520 measures 48x35x21cm, you will need a few more centimetres on the last figures to place items on the flatbed but not if you use the page feed. However anyone thinking of placing it on a shelf should make sure it’s strong enough....
