Samsung CLP-315W

The Samsung CLP-315W is a full color laser printer with built-in wireless connectivity that makes it easy to link several computers to the printer over a network. The compact CLP-315 series is one of the smallest in its class and the individual toner...

Small footprint; lightweight; sleek design; individual toner cartridges.

Poor quality prints; slow output; lacks dedicated cancel button; no manual feed tray; higher cost per page than average; low duty cycle.

The Samsung CLP-315W is a fancy looking wireless laser printer with a clean design and small footprint, but the output quality is unacceptable and the blisteringly slow speeds will have you searching for other options

Samsung CLP-315W

The Samsung CLP-315W doesn't offer a large selection of features. This is a basic color printer with all the features necessary to print quality documents. The small size and the energy-efficient features are highlights of this device, along with the...

The Samsung CLP-315W is ENERGY STAR qualified and consumes only 350 watts of power during use

This laser printer has a disappointingly slow printing speed of four pages per minute for color documents

The Samsung CLP-315W is a basic color printer well suited for home use.

Samsung CLP-315W Network Colour Laser Printer

If you're shopping for a laser printer you can usually expect to pay more than you would for an inkjet printer, but it will pay itself back over time with much lower printing costs. Start shopping around for a colour laser printer and you will suddenly...

Great system compatibility (Windows, Mac and Linux drivers included right out of the box) ; Compact size and great looks ; Networking capabilities make it a great choice for the home network, either wirelessly or wired ; Fairly inexpensive to buy...

Slow print speeds ; Quality of colour images was lower when compared to past colour laser printers from Samsung

The CLP-315W is an excellent colour laser printer alternative for those without a large budget. It offers a great solution to get acceptable quality colour prints from a laser unit while maintaining a low operating cost compared to inkjet models. The...

"Terrific light-use home printer, wireless works perfect"

Don't be fooled by all the reviews that give this printer bad reviews for things like time it takes to print or bulkiness. It's a laser printer that is inexpensive, toner that lasts forever if treated properly, wireless connectivity means freedom to...

Wireless allows us to place it in the middle of our house and forget about it (we honestly use it maybe 5-6 times a month total). Toner lasts forever, quality always perfect. We use draft quality to save toner, high for pictures, which all look great

It's a bit bulky. There are complaints about time to warm up, but since we either print from downstairs or upstairs, by the time we walk to the printer, it's not an issue. It's also a bit noisy, but again, low use = no problem.

"I would not wish for anyone to buy this"

Wish more people would do the math on how much a printer costs, your better off with a $250-400 HP Colour or a $100-200 Brother Mono Tone laser printer.

Cheap & looks pretty (Oh' look it's shiny factor)

Cheap (you get what you pay for),

"Absolute piece of junk"

Save your money, and your aggravation if you have to deal with Customer Support. They are deaf, dumb and blind.

Low price, but it shows.

Breaks down easily, doesn't handle card stock (repeated paper jams), tech support is worthless. Mine broke down after 4 months, Samsung sent a beat-up refurbished unit which broke down after 1 month, two trips to the repair shop accomplished nothing. I w

"broke down after a year"

would not buy another one. had to replace toner bin after a year, then couple months later was told to replace imaging unit which cost more than printer.

Wireless and small

Imaging unit broke down after a year and the cost to replace the imaging unit costs as much as a new printer.

Can't beat the quality anywhere for this price!

I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing this unit not being familiar with Samsung printers before, but I've had it for nearly a year now and must say that the printer is fantastic. Setup was quite easy for a wireless printer. The print quality is...
