Samsung CLX-6220FX

Despite a few quirks, the Samsung CLX-6220FX color laser multifunction printer is well worth considering for small-workgroup use. It offers only average performance and toner costs, but its output quality is very nice. Although the printer lists for...

Very nice output ; Expandable paper capacity

Expensive standard-size toner cartridges ; A few, mostly minor software bugs

Small workgroups will like this color multifunction's features and print quality, which balance out its middling performance and toner costs.

Review: Samsung CLX-6220FX multifunction printer

Small workgroups will like this color multifunction's features and print quality, which balance out its middling performance and toner costs.

As mentioned earlier, the CLX-6220FX's output quality is very good for a midlevel laser printer. On tests with both our PC and our Mac, text was sharp. Color images exhibited a slightly bright but still realistic default palette, which made the mild...

Samsung CLX-6220FX review

It offers only average performance and toner costs, but the Samsung CLX-6220FX's output quality is very nice. Although the printer lists for £632 inc VAT, we've seen it advertised for less than £500, so it could also represent a minimal initial...

The Samsung CLX-6220FX offers great text quality and decent high-yield toner costs. The PDF print problem aside, this MFP will serve a small workgroup capably.

Workhorse printer

We have had the CLP-620ND for the past 3 years plus. Originally got it alocally with an extended warranty. 2 yrs later, had a small problem & warranty co sent refirbished one. That didn't work, so they sent another, which didn't work & after the 3rd,...

Good choice for a home office

This CLP-620ND color laser printer replaced my Samsung CLP-310. The CLP-620ND is much faster, has a larger paper tray, and prints both sides of a sheet without manual intervention. It also accepts checks and envelopes through a manual paper feed slot.A...

Great value, printed fast but registration was off

This printer would be great for the average home office. I'm a graphic designer and needed this for a specific project and it just wasn't going to work for me. The registration was off slightly with the black and colors were too bright as compared with...

Some flaws, but usable

I've had this product for over a year. Overall, I'm satisfied with it. Two problems would prevent me from replacing with the exact same model. 1) Photo printing is not as good as I'd like. Perhaps this is comparing apples and oranges, but at work we...

Pros ; Multifunction ; Color laser ; Duplex printing ; Network capable ; Scan to email

Cons ; Inside of glass gets dirty ; No duplexing sheet feeder ; Photo printing is so-so

Nice In Theory - Not In Practice

Bought it from here at a very good price. Was interested in the high dpi and the ''glossy'' feature. Neither impressed. The dpi was worse than a 4 year old OKI 3400n, and the glossy isn't really glossy. AND, output from CorelDraw didn't even line up...
