Samsung Printer Xpress C410W review: NFC makes low-end color laser a little special

Its toner costs are high, and the Samsung Xpress C410W is one of the slower color laser printers we've ever tested, but print quality, including color photos, is as good or better than anything in its price range. And, it prints via NFC.

Better-than-usual photo quality for a color laser

Slow print performance ; Color toner costs are a little high

Samsung Printer Xpress C410W review

The Samsung C410W is a good color laser printer with NFC. If it weren't for the expensive supplies, we'd recommend it for all users.

To be fair, Samsung doesn’t position the C410W as a consumer printer – it’s really meant to be used in a small business or small workgroup environment. If it wasn’t for the extremely expensive supply costs, we’d recommend the C410W for a high school or...

Samsung Printer Xpress C410W review: NFC makes low-end color laser a little special

(1 items) Most low-priced color lasers are big disappointments: slow, with mediocre color images and costly toner prices. The Samsung Printer XPress C410W rises above some of the stereotypes, offering impressively good print quality and decently priced...

Samsung Printer Xpress C410w Review

Although it is compact and can only support one computer, the Samsung Printer Xpress C410dw is a quality wireless laser printer that is good for your home office. Images will look great with a 2400dpi resolution, though it will take some time for this...

Both color and monochrome prints will look great with a 2400dpi image resolution.

With limited memory, this printer is slow and only supports one user.

You will get good quality images, though you will have a bit of a wait while they are printing.

Works

Print looks really sharp and crisp, right on par with a high-end HP printer. The toner carts are simple to remove and reinstall. The paper tray seems a bit flimsier than it need to be though, but no reason to knock an egg off.

Setup was dead simple. I connected mine via Ethernet and used the included software to set it up. Took about 5 minutes. No bloatware included with drivers. Price was right for $150.00

None at the moment. I hope it lasts longer than the poorly performing HP color laser printers I had in the past

As with most printer bought currently, they give the printers away and get you on OEM toner replacements....fortunately, aftermarket chips and toner kits are available for cartridge refilling greatly reducing costs...get the extended warranty, it is...

I have had several Samsung Lasers over the years, great product, nice to 'park' the printer for extended periods knowing the print quality will still be there, unlike inkjets which can dry and clog with extended periods of nonuse...easy to setup,...

just get the extended warranty, well worth the extra $20...

Third one, started with the CLP-315 back in 2008, EZ setup, USB, wireless, network wireless, and it has the NFC function, which worked on first try ; Slick, what is great about these printers is they can be 'parked' for a long time and still print,...

Basic yet functional

Warms up my home office... but all laser printers have a tendency of doing this. I purchased this unit with my wife going back to pursue another degree... I bought her a tablet, but she still like to print things and the toner was much cheaper. For the...

Picked it up for $99 ; Color ; Laser ; Warms up quick ; Wakes up effortlessly from idle(no need to press a wake/sleep button)

Cheaper unit ; Bloatware Driver Suite (I just want the Driver, I do not care about toner status, page counts or other useless information! It's a network printer... I can always log in and see what the life of things is.) ; Hidden Admin Password....
