This is a bomb

Just received this really disappointing product. It never gives the same reading. A nightmare if you were measuring for carpet, etc. I never return products but this one is going back to Amazon.

Unreliable device

I have tried two of these units, just to make sure it was not a faulty unit. Sometimes the unit will perform perfectly. Other times, it gives an ERROR return no matter what you are measuring- short or long distance, indoors or out- even on the same...
