Sony Picture Station Digital Photo Printer DPP-FP95

Speed and versatility can't make up for disappointing photo quality--especially at this price.

Fast ; fun printing options ; Large LCD ; detailed documentation

Expensive ; dark photo quality ; Wasteful consumables

I used to own a Hi-Touch Imaging (HiTi) 640PS, which was as good as this in the printing department but lacked in software - but the hiti's UI in the standalone department was especially atrocious, as it would be fussy in the pictures it detected on...

Pictures are way over-saturated and look fake

I had seen some test prints from this printer and thought the colors looked beautiful, so I bought one. Boy was I disappointed. While the colors were bright and vivid, much more so than I've seen with Costco prints, the photos were way oversaturated,...

Just beware, printer does NOT come with paper or ribbon. Don't be surprised when you open the box and find you have to make another trip to the store before you can start printing. Bad move, Sony. Shame on you!!!
