Epson Stylus NX420

The Epson Stylus NX420 provides a good set of MFP features for its price.

Budget price. Decent feature set for its price.

Slow at both text and photo printing. Sub-par text and photo output quality. Lacks port for USB thumb drive.

Epson Stylus NX420 Review - PCWorld

The Epson Stylus NX420 color inkjet multifunction (print/copy/scan) provides good output, decent performance, and wireless connectivity for just $100 (as of November 1, 2010). Since its ongoing ink costs are high, however, it's not exactly a bargain,...

Low purchase price

Pricey inks

Wireless connectivity, good-quality output, and scan features highlight this bargain color inkjet multifunction, but ink costs are high.

Review: Epson Stylus NX420 multifunction printer

The Epson Stylus NX420 color inkjet multifunction provides good output, decent performance, and wireless connectivity.

The Stylus NX420 sits squarely in the home and student user category. Paper handling consists of a low-capacity 100-sheet vertical rear paper feed and a simple, letter/A4-size flatbed scanner. The MFP lacks an automatic document feeder for scanning or...

Epson Stylus NX420 review

The Epson Stylus NX420 colour inkjet multifunction (print/copy/scan) provides good output, decent performance, and wireless connectivity.

The Stylus NX420's LCD and its wireless capability are features not often found in this category, but otherwise this MFP is budget all the way. Its ink costs are high, though acceptable for very low volume use.

Decent printer, confusing applications

To the person below that stated you can print multiple page PDF files - yes you can, however you need to be using the latest version of Espon Scan and after launching the application you have to set the mode to something *other* than "Full Auto Mode"...

Good print quality, quick print speeds

Cost of ink - but what else is new

Decent Printer

Printing and copying work well. Scans are good. Initially, I had a small issue with Win 7 recognizing the scanner. Kept getting a W-61 connection error. So I tried installing on 32 bit XP and it worked fine. Downloaded updated 64 bit Win 7 drivers and...

I wish I could get some of my money back

As I said earlier I wish I've bought it from amazone and saved $30. So if you're planning on buying this I suggest you look somewhere else as you might find it much cheaper. Don't get me wrong I love newegg and they have a faster shipping service and...

I got this Printer two days ago and so far it's good ; All in one color printer ; Print quality is good ; Scan quality is great ; Wireless functionality is very useful and setting it up was very easy ; I trust Epson more than any other brands when it...

Price: I feel like I got ripped off because I always prefer Newegg over other places when I'm buying computer hardware. I paid $97.99 while amazone (I had to write it like this because of the text filter :\) has had this same exact model for $59.99 for...

Epson all the way!

Take care when moving the printer, grab from the sides on the bottom. It's easy to grab the scanner part on the front which is hinged and opens easily for ink replacement, I was careless and almost dropped it. Software settings do NOT automatically...

Just got this up and running, so this is a first impressions review. So far I am very impressed with the fast printing speed. The print quality is also very smooth on the medium (default) setting, I haven't tried any photos yet, which needs nice paper...

Make sure you actually read the manual first; being a typical male I just started hooking everything up but instructions are specific: DO NOT plug in the USB cable until the software/ drivers are installed, otherwise the USB detects it but can't figure...

Nice Printer

Ink is expensive, but everyone knows that. I only had to change my ink once so far, and that was in August. I use it mostly for school work and photos, but the ink seems to have lasted a good while. I noticed another comment said that the settings...

Overall nice printer. I bought it on black Friday last year and it has been working great since then. Scanner is of good quality and the pictures I have printed out look good. It also allows the computer to access media cards inserted into it

No cons I can think of at this time

poor buisness practices

Epic lose for Epson and their poor business practices, my company or any of my clients will never use an Epson product again, companies who do business like that deserve to go out of business

it works

epson has a bug in their drivers, if thats what you would call it. anyways the default settings get stuck to the highest quality, if u go in and set them back to normal they will just revert to highest quality again with out you knowledge, if you have...
