Epson Stylus NX625 All-in-One Printer

The Epson Stylus NX625 color inkjet multifunction (print, scan, and copy) brings no-nonsense design, speed, and generally good output to your home office. Its price of $150 (as of December 20, 2010) is economical. It compares favorably with the HP...

Fast at printing and copying text documents ; Cheap high-yield inks

Color graphics on plain paper look grainy ; Expensive standard-size black ink

Unlike most basic small- or home-office MFPs, the NX625 offers mostly cheap inks and some impressive performance.

Epson Stylus NX625

The NX625 measures 6.7 by 22.2 by 17 inches (HWD) and weighs 13.7 pounds. A 2.5-inch color LCD anchors its tilt-up front panel. It has a 150-sheet internal paper tray and an automatic duplexer for printing on both sides of a sheet of paper. Both should...

Sizzling business applications speed. Abundant features for home use. Increased paper capacity. Automatic duplexer

Output quality, though solid, was unexceptional. Lacks port for USB key

The Epson Stylus NX625 provides sizzling speed, solid output, and feature set at a reasonable price.

Review: Epson Stylus NX625 multifunction printer

Unlike most basic small- or home-office MFPs, the NX625 offers mostly cheap inks and some impressive performance.

You must install the Epson Scan utility if you wish to scan wirelessly. One restriction surprised us: You can scan to a computer using the Stylus NX625's control panel only if you're connected via USB, though you may scan directly to an SD Card,...

Epson Stylus NX625

The Epson Stylus NX625 is a quick all-in-one printer, but the printed results are mixed. The quality sometimes appears great, and other times it looks bland, with colors that don't pop out at you to draw you into the image. Nevertheless, it is an...

The Epson Stylus NX625 is a pretty fast all-in-one printer

The color prints' quality is mixed and is never consistent

Despite inconsistent quality, this is an affordable and quick unit.

If you use good quality paper you can get very good prints. Auto duplex printing. Good scanner. Easy to use front controls and display. Can get double capacity ink cartridges

Slightly noisy when printing. Is a little slow when scanning. Average prints when using lesser quality paper

Very Quick and Cheap - Issues Printing, Though

Good deal - it seemed like at Christmas to go with new PC and upgraded wireless (form G to N) - knew it was a bit noisy, but didn't realize how much. It is quick, though. Finacial records on the web - when I try to print - generate printer error...need...

Very quick and noisy printer from Epson. Cheap - under a hundred bucks at Office Depot - but

Cheap is as cheap does. Won't print .pdfs from web - have to D/L and then print. Did I say noisy

Easy setup but photo quality is lacking

This machine is good for decent b/w copies and for wireless usage, but if you're hoping to take advantage of advanced features, be aware this machine is quirky and may not live up to its sales pitch. If all you need is the occasional color copy,...

Easy set up; wireless usage; easy to navigate buttons; looks good

Duplexing doesn't work; print tray difficult to insert; print quality lacking for text and images
