GlacialPower GP-PS550BP Real Power 550W ATX PSU

Some of the players in the power supply industry have made a big name for themselves with a product line full of sparkle, or ultra glamorous design. Others take a different approach and offer the best product they can design at the best price possible....

Very inexpensive ; Superior product support ; Fully-sleeved primary cable group ; 400 Watts of 12V power

Much higher AC ripple than average ; DC Power regulation is much worse than average ; No cable group sleeves ; No protective end caps included ; Unattractive unfisihed steel case ; No active power factor correction ; Not 80 Plus efficient ; Cooling...

Cheap, but gets the job done.

If your budget is small, but you need a reliable psu, then this is for you.

It only has a peak of 550 watts, but it is enough to run the average desktop pc

Wattage of 550 is only peak, not good for overclockers

Go with this power supply, budget PC or not, if it can handle SLI with two xfx 6600GT than that means power...

Ok first of all, its 550watts. Second, I have two xfx 6600GT in SLI mode. (some ppl buy SLI power supply for xxx$ pfff..) ; and last, its dual fanned. This Power Supply stays very cool, what more could you ask for with the price

ehh. 1 sata power connector. (doesn't show it in pic)

JPAC 550ATX 550W ATX Power Supply - OEM

It seems to power my Radeon Sapphire x1600 PRO card. Probably not the best power supply but it works on a budget.

Cheap 550 Watt power supply! 24 pin connector and dual fans. Runs quite

None so far

a big disappointment

I do not know if it was the manufacturer or newegg but this product has made me question how much better it is to buy online.

A cheap powersupply. It says it can put out a lot of juice. Arrived quickly

The powersupply arrived and was obviously already used. It had a dent on the back side and 'crud' on some of the wires. I do not like the design of 2 branches of wires to feed all of the devices

JPAC 550ATX 550W ATX Power Supply - OEM

I tried contacting the Manufacture to see if it was a common problem but never recieved any response. If it wasn't for Newegg coming to the rescue and replacing this I would be out a power supply.

It was an extreamly low priced power supply

Worked for about 1 month then started making a loud wine sound. Sent it back got a new one seems to be working ok now

Great Deal!

If you need a power supply, why pay more when this is all you need?

Great Price, i had a 350watt and it just couldnt cut it with my aspire dreamer II case with 7 LED fans, 2 HD's , 2 DVD-Burners, and the LED lights on the case witha LCD Temperature sensor on the front, but with this I got the power I needed to make...

Cool, quiet, stable, inexpensive

My 400w wouldn't boot with my new 6800 GS video card without unplugging a couple other devices. I have NO problems now with this new PSU. I see absolutely no reason to buy a more expensive PSU. Has 6 4-pin molex connectors, 1 sata, 1 P4, and 2 smaller...

Cool, quiet, stable, inexpensive ; Plenty of power for my system
