Based even on the minimum 6.6-cent savings per page, if you print just 1,100 color pages a month—about 250 per week—for three years, the savings in running costs will cover the entire initial cost of the printer. Even better, you'll save money on...

Low cost of printing, particularly for color, can fully pay for the printer itself

Text quality is below par for a laser class printer, although good enough for most business needs

The Xerox ColorQube 8870DN is the latest Xerox printer with a high initial cost but a low enough running cost to make it a bargain for offices with heavy duty printing needs.

Xerox takes a leap forward in solid-ink printing

The ColorQube 8870DN produces terrific text and images, and Xerox has eliminated many of the traditional flaws of solid-ink printers.

Excellent printing quality for text; good color accuracy

Difficult setup and install to desktop PC

We test the latest solid ink printer from Xerox. Does it beat standard inkjet technology?

A high initial outlay and variable print speeds, but this printer delivers good-quality output and low printing costs

CORPORATE GREED AT ITS PEAK

My first model was 8560 and my God what an ink guzzler that one was. ended up buying the more expensive 8870 color cube thinking I'm gonna save over the long run, but the first unit shipped had damaged front panel, however, it was quickly replaced with...

low cost pages,,,,,,,,,,(really? could be much lower) ; small footprint for its capabilities ; somewhat fast ; duplexing is a nice option

They sell you ink sticks that probably costs pennies a piece for over $500.00 for all 4 colors, what a RIP OFF ; they should include the full ink set in a machine that costs over $2K ; Should be much much much faster for this price range ; Very noisy...
