Xerox Phaser 6600/N

The Xerox Phaser 6600/N color laser printer is a good fit for a small office that doesn't need duplex printing.

Relatively high-quality output. Paper handing is suitable for heavy-duty printing by small office standards.

No duplexer. Print speed is slow for the price.

The Xerox Phaser 6600/N's strongest points are its paper handling and output quality. If you don't need the high paper capacity, the Editors' Choice Xerox Phaser 6500/DN will give you essentially the same output quality with faster speed for $150 less....

Xerox Phaser 6600/DN

The Xerox Phaser 6600/DN color laser printer offers a balance of speed, output quality, and paper handling suitable for a small office or workgroup with heavy-duty print needs.

Relatively high-quality output. Ample paper handling for a small office or workgroup with heavy-duty print needs

Although print speed is acceptable, it's a bit slow for the price

Aimed at small offices or workgroups with heavy-duty print needs, the Xerox Phaser 6600/DN offers capable paper handling as one of its best features. Add in the on par or better output quality across the board, including for photos, and it's a...

Xerox Phaser 6600VDN

You can buy a colour laser printer for around £150, but these tend to be both slow and expensive to run. For another £120, you can get a Xerox Phaser 6600VDN, which is neither of these things. Designed for a small to medium workgroup or office, the...

Optional Wi-Fi adapter ; Low-temp toner uses less power ; Some lifetime consumables

Relatively long warm-up ; Requires cardstock for photo print mode ; Case feels flimsy in places

The Xerox Phaser 6600VDN is a very good colour laser printer for general office use. Good-quality print, low page costs and huge paper capacity make it a fine choice for mono and colour work. While we’d like to see a USB port for added flexibility,...

Phaser 6600 DN

Only other Con: It runs out of paper if you don't put more in :)

I'm at 2,200 pages so far with no problems. The paper tray accepts a full ream of paper, which is very nice. The pages don't curl from the laser heat like some printers I've used in the past. This printer has very good print quality

Network speed is a little slow. Not terrible, but a full page photo will take a little while to print. I just did a trial - 3 min 14 seconds from submission of a full page photo until the printed document landed in the tray. Most of what I do is B&W...

Powerful network printer

We put these in our research labs at a University. Xerox is our favorite choice because of the great support for multiple operating systems, especially multiple flavors of linux. As with most printers, the starter cartridges that come with the printer...

Linux and Windows support. Fast, cheap printing cost, very high quality black and white and color

Has Problems Recognizing Cartridges

We have experienced an issue where the cartridges for these have slight design issues. The original carts (Black is a 106R02225) has a single wheel in the upper left hand corner. Replacments we have purchased sometimes have 2 or 3 of these small...

A bit noisy (quite a bit).

Formerly had a Phaser 6200 (over 10 years). Toner is expensive! I waited for the printer to break. It never did. Finally sold it on Craig's List.

Good for routine printing. Bad on cardstock.

Bought with the intent of using to address cardstock mailers. Constant jams with cardstock Not practical for that usage. Works fine for routine plain paper printing.

Great product for the office to share

We have 5 people sharing this computer, with the extra tray and the wifi along with the networking ability it has been very efficient. we have had 2 phasers, the first one lasted over 5 years flawlessly. I have no doubt this will be the same. but it is...
