Wonderful Machine

 

The company bought the 4150/S (plus an extra paper tray). We had it upacked, second tray added, installed on a Windows server as a network printer (so others can print), and scan e-mail address book loaded in less than 2 hours, for 20 employeees. Takes...

Great features, easy to setup, easy to use. The unit works flawlessly so far as a printer, copier and scanner. Very high speed (45ppm) printing and copying for the price. Consumables easy to install and replace. Low cost per page. About 10,000 images...

Too tall (for shorter employees) for a cubicle desktop unit with 2 paper trays. Probably would work as a desktop unit with 1 paper tray (or with 2 trays on a lower surface). For now we have it sitting on 2 full copy paper boxes on the floor. Thinking...

This is product is so simple to use

 

If you want a machine that works when you need it, isn't high maintenance, and most people can figure out with a few pushes of the virtual buttons, this machine is for you.

This machine has multiple problems

 

The upper tray feeddogs repeatedly fail and do not pull the paper. Scanning is the next problem. It will not scan a large, 30 page, document without splitting it in to two different docs. It is also slow to wake up and print

Average performance; parts don't hold up.

 

I liked this machine at first, but we have run across several issues that have had to be resolved after lengthy investigations. the parts do not hold up well and the software/firmware used are very sensitive.

I like the multi function of this machine however we have had some issues with the paper jamming. It has been resolved but was a pain to deal with. I also don't like how long it takes to receive the information and then print even one single page...
