Xerox WorkCentre 6015V/NI review

Running costs are on the steep side and its print speeds could be faster, but this is still a very competent multifunction colour laser that produces top quality output.

Cute design ; Good range of features ; Excellent print quality

Print speeds could be faster ; Running costs are relatively high

Overall, the 6015 is a very competent multifunction laser printer. Its speed could be a littlebit faster and we wish it was a tad cheaper to run, but its excellent print quality does go someway towards making up for these two slight failings.

Xerox WorkCentre 6015N review

If you're looking for a robust colour multifunction peripheral (MFP) for a home or small business, you might be surprised that a budget of just £250 lets you consider laser-printer-based models as well as inkjets. Xerox's inexpensive WorkCentre 6015MFP...

This is a competent colour MFP with good all-round performance. While its running costs are reasonable for a laser, however, they're significantly undercut by the best comparable inkjet MFPs

Xerox Workcentre 6015V/NI

Another laser-style all-in-one based on Xerox's impressive LED engine. Like previous models, though, a good machine is marred by high running costs.

Very quiet when printing ; Good print quality ; Easy maintenance

Very high consumable costs ; Occasional long first page out ; Vaguely old-fashioned styling

The printer supports USB and 10/100 Ethernet connections, but the most convenient must be its wireless link. It supports WPS setup, which makes the whole procedure straightforward. Xerox provides a copy of Nuance OmniPage SE16, as well as separate...

We test a surprisingly inexpensive networked colour laser MFP from Xerox

A compact MFP with good features and surprisingly good print quality – all at an affordable price

Dont listen to the bad reviews, This little unit is a GEM!

All in all this is a fantastic print/scan/fax from the most well known name in the biz. Im glad I took the risk in purchasing despite the bad reviews. Some people stated the replacement toners are expensive, which is true ONLY if youre buying OEM...

Convenient size ; print quality is excellent both B/W and color ; Has the functionality of most full size MFC printers ; Network enabled ; Configures VIA web browser

The only Con so far I can report about this specific unit is that when setting up network scanning, the manual states to use a / before entering the share path. Gave me headaches until speaking with xerox support where they told me to remove the /...

Not Good

turned on an wifi config fast

Toner powder all over the place, package was intact, congratulations UPS, Printer was used before and powder toner (cyan and magenta) all over inside the printer. It was not a new printer, what a shame

Not the Xerox you're looking for

The whole reason I looked into Xerox was because the HP OfficeJets are throw away items at this point. I will tell my clients to strongly consider leased products from now on.

Affordable for a Xerox

This unit is non-serviceable, meaning if anything breaks my laser printer guy can't get parts, and get certified for them. Apparently this is the cheap throw away model. I bought 3 in the last year for three different branch locations and within 2...

Small printer, expensive toners

I am going back to an HP printer

Light, weighs about 30 lbs. Small foot print. Printer was easy to set up

I printed a few pages, and the cyan toner is OUT!! The toner is difficult to find, as not many stores/websites carry these toners. Also, for original Xerox Cyan toner, it's about $50-$60 and only yields 1000 pages. Most HP toners can yield about 2000...

I love y Xerox!

If the unit had different temp lets of each language for the buttons it may have been simpler to learn than pushing buttons, I have had several wireless printers, this printer took less time to set up than any I have previously had. For a wireless...

Once I familiarized myself with the control buttons, set up was a breeze! I found administrative set up, named my SSID hit ok, went to my computer set up wireless printer and I was printing with in 5 minutes of plugging the unit in. My son has windows...

Solid Unit

Wireless only setup was a breeze and getting the printer working went very quickly on the computer as well. B/W output and speed are pretty good, but not super fast. Scanner quality is quite good

Some streaks on the color printout I tested. This might just be in the setup and I suspect will go away with some tweaking
