5 years strong!

This little chip has been running strong for me for the last 5 years, I'm upgrading to a 4790K and about to retire this to my girlfriend as her new(er) photo editing machine. Overclocked it about 3 years ago to a modest 3.5GHz, on a custom water loop....

Very capable overclocker, still gets the job done against todays low-mid range computers

Hard to find, better to spend money on something newer if you can (you'll get more bang for your buck)

4 Years strong.

I've owned this processor for over 4 years and it has yet to fail me. Overtime, I've replaced several internal parts except the board and processor and its still going strong

Great

Bought this 3 years ago for my build, never had an issue, has always been fast. Somewhat outdated now, but works well for any task.

Great, quad core

Intel BX80601930

This 2.8GHz processor is the easy to OC to 4.0GHz (water cooled)and no issues to speak of. Wish I would have bought another when I could

Great for Everything

Overclocking is a breeze, runs relatively cool

You can usually get a 920 to perform about the same if you are careful overclocking

Perfect

To me the price is worth it. My system: G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Intel Core i7-930 Bloomfield 2.8GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 ASUS P6X58D-E LGA 1366 Intel X58 EVGA 012-P3-1472-AR GeForce GTX 470...

Very very fast, temperatures about what I would expect. I was forced to replace the stock heatsink/fan after managing to break it via a stray cable in my case getting caught in the spinning fan and breaking it. Replacing the heatsink/fan was relatively...
