3M MP225A

A scientific, in-depth analysis with side-by-side comparisons

Easy to setup; A good set of colors

Poor peak brightness; Limited connectivity

The 3M MP225A ($299 MSRP) is a very simple pico projector to be used with Apple devices on the fly. There is an optional VGA cable that we used to test this 3M pico, but the available resolutions and resulting motion performance were less than passable.

The Mp255a is inconvenient in some ways because it requires an extra cord purchase in order to use it with your laptop, but for an Apple enthusiast this is an excellent product, with its long battery life and portability. Point it toward the ceiling...

The compact size makes it very easy to pack in any bag

An extra cable is required to make it work with your computer

With long battery and lamp life, the Mp255a from 3M is a very good value for anyone with a portable Apple device.
