An entry-level 2D and 3D home entertainment projector, the Acer H5380BD offers a low price, 720p HD resolution, and support for 3D with Blu-ray players and other video devices.

Inexpensive. Native 720p resolution. HDMI port supports Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) for easy connection to MHL-enabled mobile devices.

I bought this before there were any reviews on here right after this model was released and that's not something i normally do and it was a great purchase, no regrets.

-Great picture / I use it on a dark blue wall and the picture is great -good price / outperforms (in my opinion) a buddies BenQ that cost 2x as much

-mounting to a universal ceiling mount was tricky

I think the scare about DLP rainbows is over-hyped. I can see them, but only on a very few scenes and then only if I try.

Very Bright. Long life bulb. 5000hrs. Small and white. Hides easily on the ceiling. MHL HDMI port. Easy to set up, color close to perfect out of the box. No issue with DLP rainbows with me or any of my friends. I purchased this projector for a friend...

Gets hot, but no problems so far.
