BenQ W2000 review

The gold standard for Blu-ray colour, but is this quickdraw projector late to the party?

Blu-ray-tuned Cinema preset ; Powerful speaker ; Easy set-up ; Sleek & compact design

Rec. 709 is for HD only ; Mild rainbow effect ; Some judder ; No digital file playback

A modicum of DLP rainbow effect, some so-so black levels and a hint of film judder can't prevent the W2000 from offering one of the loveliest, most involving Blu-ray performances so far from an affordable quickdraw DLP projector.

BenQ W2000 AV projector REVIEW

BenQ's $2499 W2000 provides very strong picture quality, including a 3D picture which we doubt could be surpassed. It's high value for money.

Superb entry level projector

For the money 5 stars every day. The black levels don't compare to the higher end projectors but the unless you're an AV officiondo you'll be blown away by this projector. Way better than the cheaper LCD options and the RBE is barely noticeable. A...

Great Product and superb customer service

The BenQ W2000 is a great product. We use it for training and project onto a 100" screen. The projector is quiet, the image bright and the picture quality for the price is excellent. Also, the in-built speakers are surprisingly good. We're still...

The Wizard in your Lounge

This machine is highly suited to Home viewing. It has the colour and the brilliance to bring the screen to life. With some other projectors, I feel I need to tweek the focus control. Not with the W2000. It is very sharp, bright, and a pleasure to watch.

neat good looking.

some light leakage around lens.

Great product ... here a few buying tips:

I previewed a few projectors before deciding on this one, but most of them looked good to be honest. That's just where home projector technology is at currently! Here a few buying tips though: 1. Beware of LCD projectors, as their picture quality...

Good all rounder

Quiet fan noise was the selling point for me as the projector sits right near my sofa. The side protection feature and zoom capability makes the picture placement very flexible. Awesome definition and colours.
