Excellent business portable, unplug and pack, solid.

unplug and pack. no waiting to cool ; smaller than my laptop, fits in the case ; feels sturdy. solid ; automatic features like zoom, keystone, and auto make it easy ; all connections i expected ; intensity and color are great for business

wish it came with an hdmi cable. make sure you order one of those (if you're laptop's got a plug) ; color isn't tip-top perfect for photos (probably other projectors make the color a bit more rich). not theater quality, that is

Casio XJ-A135

Projectors with LED technology have taken a while to reach the mainstream. The first few pico-projector products were frankly unimpressive, with limited resolution and brightness.

Small form factor ; Good lifespan ; Decent brightness

Contrast not brilliant ; Not great for films ; Wi-Fi implementation

Overall, this is an interesting and welcome new technology. Although it seems pricey, even with the nominal bulb savings, it's a likely choice for road warriors who need a robust and slim unit, and for offices where projectors are used all day, every day.

Casio XJ-A135 review

The XJ-A135 is the baby of Casio's new Green Slim range. It has a resolution of 1,024x768 and a claimed brightness of 2,000 lumens. Considering it's based on an LED light source, that's pretty incredible. Other models will be available soon, including...

The first truly usable LED projector. However, the XJ-A135's image quality isn't particularly impressive given the relatively high price, but it does have extras such as WiFi and a built-in media player.

Casio brings LED technology to the world of full-sized desktop projectors, with 2,000 lumens brightness and low running costs

Clever technology resulting in low running costs, but this projector is just too noisy

Casio XJ-A135 super slim portable projector

The Casio XJ-A135 is the PC-Free and wireless version of the XJ-A130. Casio have specialised in ultra slim projectors for quite a while now and they have pushed the boundaries yet again with the new green slim series offering unprecedented lamp life...

All in all the ultra slim Casio range is well made feature packed and easy to use. The lamp life is revolutionary and though the 2.3kg weight is about 500grams more than some competitors like Epson the slim design is a sure winner.
