I noticed someone at Be$t Buy had the same issue/review so it may be common with these things.

I posted before that it was one of my best purchases ever and I still think it's nice but

Primarily for traveling/data presentation. Figured it "would be nice" to do home theater duty as well. "Blown away" by utility for data presentation, "pretty good" for home theater. Surely, in a few years, it will be surpassed. However, given benefit...

Bright, small, good picture; VERY sharp for text/data, yellows/blues very vibrant. No whacky/expensive bulb to replace in 2-3 years. Lasers, people, LASERS... No discernable (to me) "rainbow" effect (though others may be more sensitive to this)

Color blows (not much red), not 1080P, no HDMI input, hot (not-too-bad), loud (not-too-bad). Heavy (not-too-bad)

A downside to a lot of units is short bulb life (and bulbs are expensive). So 20,000 hours of bulb (LED) life translates into $0.50/hour. If you use the unit 4 hrs per work-day (5 days per week) and 50 weeks per year, that's only 1,000 hours per year...

42" LCD TV is $650 at wal-mart. I rather paying $250 more, and enjoy 110". In my opinion, $900 for 110" is worth it (include full 3 years warranty). Well, I am satisfied with this 120% personally. All movies become better when I watch with bigger...

1. This projector uses LED lamp that doesn't need to be replaced. Normal projector should replace its lamp every 5~6000 hours. But, this one has up to 20,000 hours lamp life. That should be MAXIMUM, but still sounds good to me ; 2. Also, 3 years...
