With their latest XJ-A series of data projectors, Casio have done something I've always thought impossible: made data projectors not just interesting, but awesome.

Casio XJ-A245 super slim portable projector

The Casio XJ-A245 is the PC-Free and wireless version of the XJ-A240. Casio have specialised in ultra slim projectors for quite a while now and they have pushed the boundaries yet again with the new green slim series offering unprecedented lamp life...

All in all the ultra slim Casio range is well made feature packed and easy to use. The lamp life is revolutionary and though the 2.3kg weight is about 500grams more than some competitors like Epson the slim design is a sure winner.

Great projector but missing important features

Despite all the Cons, I am still happy with it, because there isn't a better model in its class in the market.

Well built*compact size*decent picture quality*long lamp life*wireless*PC Free capability*1280x800 resolution*fast start and shut-down*simple sleek design*compact carry case*intuitive control panel and remote control*reasonably priced

No laser pointer*too loud*wireless takes too long to connect & slow while connected*poor instructions*wireless security is annoying (different code every time)*no HDMI or display port cable*cables bulky*electronic zoom and focus controls feel awkward
