A projector in the shape of a stealthy sea beast? Novel idea, but not so good in terms of image quality.

Easy and cheap to replace lamp ; No need to wait for the lamp to warm up ; Inexpensive compared to other projectors

Low resolution and noticeable screen door effect ; Annoying buttons that are too small ; Didn't work with our DVD player

$1349 isn't that much coin to lay down as far as projectors go, but even so, it's a lot to spend on an item that delivers unsatisfying image quality. The MantaRay might find a home among people who fancy a portable all-in-one projector with a quick...

Perhaps CNET need to do their research....I bought my Mantaray projector/TV shortly after release in 2003, not 2006, making the link with the great Steve Irwin irrelevant.
