Ripples & memory lines - RMA'd

According to Elite Screens tech support (very nice, btw), the ripples & memory lines are usually caused by screen sitting rolled up in a warehouse for too long, and/or improperly stored. Waited 4 weeks for ripples & lines to diminish, when they didn't,...

Price, easy installation, nice HD picture reproduction and viewing angles (despite my problems below)

Ripples and 'memory lines' across screen surface that did not go away after 4 weeks, had to RMA with manufacturer.

Great Screen

If you wanna impress both the guys and the ladies..GET A PROJECTOR AND THIS SCREEN!!!!

Great screen. I have no complaints on this purchase, except that I wish i did it sooner. 100" for $110, is a good price. Screen pulls down and retracks smoothly. total unit weights about 10-15 lbs. Can be securded with 2 screws in wall or 2 hooks...

It does have 1 or 2 slight ripples in it when I first got it, but with it hanging down for about a month now, they have worked themselves out.

Excellent Screen for the Price

Screen may have a few wrinkles for the first few times you use it. Suggest leaving the screen down for a few days and letting it hang to even out your viewing surface. Over the weekend all the wrinkles in my screen disappeared. Additionally, this...

Screen is lightweight, and case is quite sturdy. Retracting mechanism is strong and pulls the screen back up very well. This projector screen is simple in design and does exactly what one would want out of a home theater screen. Screen surface provides...

Wrinkles, not just on old people

All in All it still provided a great picture before the waves and i'm sure I will figure out how to make them go away. Just seems like they should have figured this out at the plant so I wouldn't have to. Good quality for the money but only worth 3.5...

Cheap, Great Picture quality (see cons), relatively light, easy installation, smooth feel on roll up and down. I only had to use eye bolts and some Black chain from Home Depot to mount the projector since they provide anchor points on the Chassis of...

After only a week or so the screen developed wrinkles (more like waves) along the bottom outside edges. Takes up about 1-2 feet of the corners and is really annoying during dolly or panning scenes (when the camera moves from right to left or vice versa)

It's been three years

I have previously reviewed this screen almost immediately after purchasing it and give it a five-star rating. After more than three years of use, and several mountings, it continues to operate perfectly.

I haven't really found any, other than the very minor one mentioned in my first review

High Quality.

My friends and family love this screen also, it has a wow factor. I recommend this to anyone in need of a good screen. My setup: two EVGA GTX 470's running an Acer H5360 3D projector and 3 pairs of Nvidia 3D vision glasses.

This is a beautiful projector screen and is very well made. $99 for this screen is a steal. I'm using this in my game room for my pc running Nvidia 3D vision and it looks great. If you're looking for a projector screen and you aren't so lazy that you...

My screen was damaged in shipping I guess and won't retract. I'm scared to pull the screen any harder to make it retract so it's just been staying down since I mounted it. I don't know if I should RMA or not since I won't ever really need to retract...

Great screen at a good price!!

Great screen for the budget minded. I recommend this to anyone looking for a basic, good quality projection screen.

This is a great screen for those on a budget. It produces a great picture, 110% better than just projecting on a wall. It is very easy to mount and retracts back in with minimal effort.

Nothing major to speak of. The case is a little weak, it twists easily while handling it, but is not a problem after mounting and does not hamper operation. The edges of the screen curl a little, but I imagine that will go away after it hange for a...

Works great. Light-weight, very white, helps with the glare from the window. I used it to cover up a window in our basement. It was big enough to cover the whole window, and we would otherwise not be able to use that wall. Works great for what it cost.

It works.

I really dont see a point in getting an electric screen when you have to plug it into an outlet somewhere nearby.

Hooks on ends to hang from the wall or ceiling by some metal hooks available at hardware store. It is a screen has nice black borders and gives the wow factor while watching movies or playing video games.

I dont find it a con really but some would complain the edges do not remain truely flat so a slight curling of the material on the sides, it doesnt show while watching a movie really. It gives a good picture and rolls up and down smooth enough.
