Product Specifications

Maintain control over your presentations with the advanced operational features of the HP xp8000 projectors. Its intuitive operation, bright image, color fidelity, and wireless connections help you present a professional image. The advanced features of the HP xp8000 digital projectors are available even to first-time users through an intuitive interface. The easy-to-find, easy-to-understand, and easy-to-set video and audio options mean that you can concentrate on your presentation and your audience instead of worrying about your equipment. The intuitive, laser-equipped remote control provides access to all the features the projector offers, without the clutter and confusion that is too often a characteristic of remote control. No cords or wires tie you to the projector, so you can be mobile during your presentations. The projector reacts immediately to your IR-communicated demands, so the equipment control never distracts you from the presentation task at hand. Whether your meeting room is midsize or large, and no matter where you place the HP xp8000 projectors, you can adjust the projection distance to create an image that fits your screen perfectly. Use the short-, medium-, and long-throw lenses to create an image size that meets your presentation objectives. The HP xp8000 projectors offer a variety of mounting options, so you enjoy flexibility in placing the projector. For long-term installation, you can mount the projector to a rear wall or to a ceiling, or you can put it on a tabletop. The top-accessible lamp is easy to reach and replace as needed. And no matter where you place it, you can connect to it wirelessly, effortlessly. Feel secure in the knowledge that data shared during a presentation is protected by an enhanced-security wireless protocol. You never compromise the security of your information during a presentation. Protect your equipment from theft. Using a Web browser, or with the optional Remote Asset Management software for a fleet of projectors, if the projector is ever disconnected from the network or from its power source, security is notified instantly and automatically. After you set the software options for this security feature, you can be confident that your valuable piece of equipment will remain where it belongs. When your projector is installed on a network, you can manage its functions and maintenance over the Web. Turn it off or on, change the input, check the lamp life, and perform other functions without physically visiting the projector. All these functions can be password-protected, so control is available only to people that you designate to manage the projector. Your total cost of ownership is reduced when remote management and regular maintenance guarantee optimal performance and less downtime. Enjoy a lower total cost of ownership when centralized management ensures performance and reduces downtime. Use HP's projector management software, or use standard STMP-based management tools such as OpenView or MMC, to manage a networked fleet of projectors within your organization, whether they are in a single location or located at various sites. All the functions that are available through the password-protected, Web-based projector management feature can be applied to any unit in the fleet. The HP xp8000 projectors come with stereo 5-watt speakers. Their chambered design provides audio that enhances the visual features of your projector-based presentations. Your audience stays attentive and understands the presentation better when rich sound complements the well-conveyed images.
