Impressively portable at just one pound, the palm-size Mitsubishi PocketProjector represents a new category of projector.

Extreme portability, at just one pound. Optional battery. Native SVGA (800-by-600) resolution. Connectors for analog computer, S-Video, and composite-video input.

Image is relatively dim. The one-pound weight does not include the external power block or optional battery.

This lack of brightness would be a problem for traditional projectors. But Mitsubishi stresses that this is the first of a new category of projectors. This new breed may not be suitable for standard applications, but it opens up a whole new set of...
